Press Start Gameboy Crochet Phone Case Pattern

After publishing my first Notebook on Amazon, I got inspired to make a crochet matching phone case following the same gameboy like design. I went with a retro vibe and several vibrant colors. To give it a more realistic look, I choose to mix painting (watercolor and gouache) and cross stitch with my crochet design, and bam! I got this super cute gameboy looking phone case to present you and teach you how to make it too.

You can watch the full tutorial on youtube or follow the written pattern that I decided to share with you here on my website.

So here we go!

Once you’re done, cut the corners off the fabric and fold the exceeding edges to fit the fabric on to the crocheted screen. Then sew the fabric on it.

At this point, glue or sew each console’s key/button on the phone case, and the screen too.

For the screen, count 3 rows under round 37 of the phone case, to sew or glue the top of the screen.

And then you’re finally done, your gameboy like crochet phone case is finished. Congrats!
