Learn how to crochet this cute friendship bracelet now

After a much-needed rest, I’m back to bring you a cute and easy crochet pattern to follow, and to make for you, your family or your best friend! In this article, I will teach you how to make this adorable friendship – slash – love – slash – reminder bracelet, you choose the one that suits your need the most haha! The flower design is inspired by the cherry blossom flower (yes, again, I’m obsessed with it), and to add to the cuteness of this bracelet, I’ve made a little phial bottle, where you can put a hidden message to your loved ones, or a reminder note to help you not forget something you should or shouldn’t do. Without further due, let’s learn how to crochet a cute flower friendship / reminder bracelet now.

How to crochet a friendship bracelet

The flower

Start with a magic circle with your color 1 yarn.

Round 1: 5 sc (5), slip stitch in the 1st sc of the round.

Join color 2 thread.

Round 2: sl st in the 1st free stitch available,[(ch 2, 1 hdc, 1 dc, ch 1 then sl st in the dc’s stitch, ch 2 then sl st in the 1st loop of ch2, 1 dc, 1 hdc, ch2, sl st) in the same stitch, sl st in next stitch] repeat this a total of 5 times.

Cut the yarn at the end and weave in the ends.

Make a total of 6 flowers this way (less or more if needed).

Sew the flowers to each other with a piece of color 1 yarn, making sure you insert a pearl bead between them. Then tie the gold chains on each end of the bracelet to complete it.

The Phial

Make a magic circle with color 1 yarn.

Note: slip stitch in the 1st stitch at the end of each round.

Round 1: 6 sc (6)

Round 2: 6 sc inc (12)

R3: 12 sc BLO (12)

R4 to 8: 12 sc (12)

R9: (1 sc, sc dec) x 4 (8)

R10: (1 sc, sc inc) x 4 (12)

R11: 12 sl st (12)

Cut yarn and weave in the ends.

Now let’s make the phial’s cork. For this one, we will crochet it amigurumi style.

Take color 2 yarn and make a magic circle.

Round 1: 6 sc (6)

Round 2: 6 sc inc (12)

R3: 12 sc (12)

R4: (1 sc, sc dec) x4 (8)

R5: 1 sc, sc dec, 2 sc, sc dec, 1 sc (6)

R6 to 7: 6 sc (6)

Fill the cork with the polyester fiberfill, then close the bottom hole with the help of a yarn needle. Weave in the end.

Take a piece of color 1 thread and encircle it around the top of the phial, then sew one of the end to the cork, this way you will not lose it if it falls from the phial. Secure the thread well.

Finally, you will just have to attach the phial to one of the gold chain ends to let it hang a little off your bracelet. And you will be done!

In this phial you can leave a cute or a love note to your friends, or something you want to be reminded of, for example if you made it for you as a reminder bracelet (that’s how I use mine). This project is an easy and fast one, you can give it a go even if you are a beginner in crochet.

Feel free to share a picture of your finished bracelet with me on my social medias, I would love to see it. I also often post pictures of the finished project my followers share with me on Instagram, so don’t hesitate to tag me on your pictures there!

New crochet patterns are coming soon, I will be making Fall Season theme patterns. I can’t wait to share them with you, you can already look forward for a cute bag pattern so stay tuned on my website and instagram!
