The finished Retro TV crochet coaster measures 14.5 cm x 12.2 cm.
At the end of each row, ch 1 and turn. Each round is joined with a slip stitch in the first stitch of the round.
The gauge for the yarns is: 12 sc x 12 rows.
Retro TV Coaster Crochet Pattern
With the cream yarn and the 3,5 mm crochet hook, Ch19. Starting the 2nd loop from the hook:
Row 1: sc inc, 16 sc, sc inc (20)
Row 2 to 17: 20 sc (20)
Row 18: sc dec, 16 sc, sc dec (18)
This is the screen part of the crochet Retro TV.

Join the second color yarn (the light brown). From this point on, we’ll be working in continuous rounds around the edges of the screen.
Round 19: Work a sc increase in the first space on the left side of the screen (the last row made).

Then work 15 sc evenly along the side, placing 1 sc in each row. In the last space, make 3 sc.


Now continue working along the bottom of the screen: 18 sc. In the first space on the other side, make 3 sc,

then work 15 sc evenly up the side. Make 3 sc in the last space of that side, then work 18 sc across the top. Finish with 1 sc in the same stitch where you made the first sc increase at the beginning of the round.

Round 20: (3 sc in the first stitch), 17 sc, (3 sc in the next stitch), 20 sc, (2 sc, 1 dc) in the next stitch, 17 dc, (1 dc, 2 sc) in the next stitch, 20 sc. (86)

Change color to the dark brown.
Round 23: 3 sc, sc inc, 23 sc, sc inc, 27 sc, sc inc, 23 sc, sc inc, 24 sc. (108)
Cut the yarn and weave in all ends.

Grab the dark brown yarn and slip stitch around the screen, as shown in the photos below.

With the dark brown yarn make a magic circle.
Round 1: 5 sc (5)
Cut the yarn, finish with an invisible join and leave a tail for sewing.
Bottom Button
With the dark brown yarn make a magic circle.
Round 1: 7 sc (7)
Cut the yarn, finish with an invisible join and leave a tail for sewing.
Sew both buttons onto the top right side of the crochet Retro TV coaster screen. Use embroidery thread to add the details to the screen, the buttons, and the speaker below them.

With the black yarn, and on the top of the tv, count 12 stitches to the right from the increase, not including the increase itself. In the 13th stitch, join with (1 sc, 1 hdc) in the first stitch, 1 dc, (1 hdc, 1 sc) in the next stitch. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.

Antenna Rods (x2) – Crochet Retro TV Coaster
Using 6 strands of cream embroidery thread and a 2,5 mm crochet hook, ch 7. Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 6 sl st.
Using black yarn and a 3,5 mm crochet hook, ch 2. Starting in the second chain from the hook, make 1 sc.
Sew this black piece to one end of the rod made with the embroidery thread, then sew the other end of the rod to one of the hdc at the base of the antenna. Make a second rod the same way and sew it to the other hdc at the base of the antenna.
